As the art teacher at Windsor, it was my duty to photograph the Halloween Parade last Friday. Watch the video and see if you can find yourself (or your child)! Great costumes everyone!

https://twitter.com/WindsorWildcats/status/657626129063395328/photo/1 4th grade art club has been busy coming up with ideas of what to paint on Windsor's walls. The focus is "Wildcat Way," adding small reminders throughout the building painted on the walls to keep everyone on track for doing their best. The planning stage for these murals is almost done, so stay tuned for when the real work starts happening!
4th grade art club starts this week. A note was sent home Friday informing the students who were selected. If you were chosen to be in art club session 2, you will receive your note today.
Happy Monday! This Friday I will be sending home art club permission slip forms for 4th grade only. Students do not have to participate in art club if they do not want to. This year the art club is "The Wildcat Way Monumental Mural Club," and will be held in the fall and winter (two sessions). The details of the club are included on the permission forms. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
In my classroom I have PTA Reflections forms if students wish to take one and enter the contest. Here is a link providing more information: http://windsorpta.org/2015/08/27/reflections-2015-entry-form/ Have a great day! I hope that each and everyone of you is enjoying the beginning of summer so far. There was so much going on at the end of the year at Windsor, I hope that your child shared some of that with you. If you have not heard about it yet, or have not seen it, Windsor's very own Little Library is up and running! Make sure you stop by Windsor at some point this summer to see what the fantastic library has to offer! Art Club did such a wonderful job decorating it.
Kindergarten Art and Music day was a blast! Thanks to everyone who participated. Here are some images of the fun.
Thank you to everyone who made it out to the opening reception for the AHML D25 Art Show. It was great seeing so many families supporting the students and their art! Here is an article from the library regarding the show.
