Feel free to email me if you have any questions!
If your second grader has brought home their clay turtle and seeds, they will probably want to grow the seeds on the turtles shell just like in the book "Mossy." The seeds are simply chia pet seeds. You can search for information regarding best ways to grow the plants, or look at the links I have provided:

I can hardly believe there is only one more week of school left before spring break! Luckily, there are still several weeks left to sign up for Summer U. Be sure to check out "Make Me Minecraft," which I will be teaching.
The 4th graders recently finished their second project, a picture to permanently hang in Windsor's office. Looks great 4th grade!
The spectacular bookends also got tweeted! Mrs. Fabrizio visited the art room and tweeted what she saw. You can read all about it here: https://twitter.com/WindsorWildcats/media
It feels like it's been forever since I've updated on all the art room happenings! We are finally back from break and getting into the swing of things. The students are determined as ever, and starting new wonderful projects! Don't forget to check back weekly and see the excitement.
I would like to wish everyone the happiest of holidays. Make sure during the restful two weeks off you check the grade specific art blogs to see what has been going on it the art room!
I am looking for parent volunteers to donate about an hour of their time in the name of art! I mostly need help in the take down and hanging up of art. Please email me if you are interested! It would be greatly appreciated.
